How to batch Solid Carbon
-
Buckets
For smaller projects with lower doses, it may make sense to put SOLID CARBON BioLock™ directly into the mixer truck with buckets at the batch plant or at the jobsite. A minimum number of rotations will be required to ensure adequate mixing as per the appropriate standard for your concrete.
-
Super Sacks
For smaller projects with higher doses, SOLID CARBON recommends incorporating BioLock™ admixture into the mixer truck with buckets at the batch plant. A minimum number of rotations will be required to ensure adequate mixing as per the appropriate standard for your concrete.
-
Conveyer
For ready-mix batch plants equipped with a stand-alone loading conveyer, this approach is feasible for projects of any size and dosage. Typically BioLock™ is loaded first, then the truck runs through the batch plant to ensure adequate mixing as per the appropriate standard for your concrete.
-
Batch Plant
Utilizing an aggregate bin is safe, fast, and reliable. SOLID CARBON recommends this approach for larger projects to minimize batching time. Testing this approach with a truck trial helps ensure the selected bin has adequate slope for BioLock™ to easily drop onto the aggregate loading conveyor and into your trucks.
